Rocco Forte Brown's Hotel Celebrates Victory at The Prix Villégiature Awards
Rocco Forte Brown's Hotel in London is celebrating after it was voted 'Best Hotel in Europe' at the prestigious Prix Villégiature Awards, held at Hotel Bristol in Paris on Monday night (16th October 2006).
The annual Prix Villégiature Awards are judged by a panel comprising 20 high profile journalists and four Directors of well-known hotels in Europe.
The hotel fought off stiff competition from the likes of Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris, Hotel Metropole in Monte-Carlo and Four Seasons Gresham Budapest, to take home their award.
On receiving the award, Stuart Johnson, General Manager of Brown's Hotel commented, "We are honoured and delighted to receive this prestigious award. Without the consistency of the The Rocco Forte Collection brand, we would not have been able to achieve such a high accolade in such a short space of time, since the hotel's re-opening in December last year".
